A. Professional positions held
1. Economic and Strategy Advisor
Currently consultant / advisor to the “Government Implementation
Coordination Office” (GICO) in the Office of the President of Botswana.
Providing advice to government concerning the implementation of change
actions contained in the Strategy for Economic Diversification and
Sustainable Growth, and the projects giving effect to diversification,
through and with the GICO .That Office is charged with coordinating
and guiding not only the implementation of the “Botswana Excellence
Strategy” (that is, the diversification and growth strategy) of the Botswana
Business and Economic Advisory Council”, but it also oversees and
guides other major government projects as well as the development
of certain supportive policies.
Appointed to provide ongoing professional and strategic support
for new “Botswana Economic Advisory Council” under the auspices
of GICO.
Between 2005 and 2008, member of the Business and Economic Advisory
Council of the President of Botswana, and its Task Force Director.
The Council was charged with drawing up a strategy for the diversification
and achieving sustainable growth of Botswana’s economy.
