Nkosana Moyo

Nkosana is responsible for managing our business in the Africa region.
He is also a member of our Management and Investment Committees.
Nkosana joined Actis in January 2004 and is based in London.
In his role as Partner for Africa, Nkosana's responsibilities include
providing business leadership to the regional fund team, formulation of
business strategy for the region, deal origination, fund raising and
investor relationship management.
Prior to joining Actis, Nkosana was with the International Finance
Corporation in Washington DC. He also served as Zimbabwe's Minister for Industry and Trade after a career in Industry and Commerce as well as in financial services. Nkosana has worked in senior positions in Africa,
Europe as well as the US.
Nkosana has served on the boards of companies in the cement, sugar, finance, tourism and food sectors. He is currently on the Board of Trustees of the Investment Climate Facility (ICF) and the Africa Regional
Advisory Boards of Unilever and The London Business School. Nkosana has a PhD in physics from Imperial College and an MBA from Cranfield School of Management. He is a World Economic Forum Global Leader of Tomorrow (GLT), and an Eisenhower Fellow.
